DUMBO
I thought that a theme for my blog might help me think of things to write. Remembering the book that grew from a blog about mastering the art of French cooking in a Bklyn. studio, I began with food and tried to think of something repellent. Cheap candy came to mind, Saturday matinees and trying to avoid Black Dots, last choice in the candy machine. Then I had a mental picture of Eliot Spitzer as Dumbo--the big ears linking him to Alfred E. Newman, too, and . . .
